Obituary
David Campbell Pearce, Sr., 79, of Raleigh, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 at WakeMed. He was born in Franklin County to the late Ivon “Buck” Pearce and Zelma Hagwood Pearce. Mr. Pearce retired from CSX Railroad as a conductor after 37 years of service.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon, December 18, 2022 at Fairmont United Methodist Church, 2501 Clark Ave, Raleigh, NC 27607. A private burial will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park on Monday, December 19, 2022.
Mr. Pearce is survived by his wife of 24 years, Barbara S. Peace; son, David Pearce, Jr.(Rachel Nie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Denise Pearce(Angel Hernandez) of Knightdale; grandchildren, Ashley Price and Christian Price. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dalton Pearce, Kenneth Pearce, Wayne Pearce, and Rudy V. Pearce, Sr.
