Kimberly “Kim” Davis Harmon, 52, of Wake Forest, died Friday morning, April 23, 2021 at WakeMed surrounded by her family. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia on September 22, 1968.
Kim was a devoted wife, mom, Kiki, and friend. She was a Christian and loved Jesus so we know we will see her again soon. She was her happiest at the beach and sitting on the deck listening to music with her family. She took on the role of second mom to her granddaughter and was the best Kiki and mom we could have asked for. She also loved her job and coworkers at Wake County Child Nutrition Services. We miss her dearly but we find comfort knowing that she is reunited with her sister and father in Heaven, and that we will see her when we get there.
A graveside service will be held at 12 o’clock, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens with Dr. William Slater officiating.
Mrs. Harmon is survived by her husband of 28 years, Christopher “Chris” Harmon; daughters, Courtney Harmon of Raleigh and Sara Harmon of Wake Forest; granddaughter, Hallie Teal of Raleigh; mother, Alveta Douglas Davis of Roanoke, VA; nephew, Stuart Burke of Raleigh and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Olin Daniel Davis and a sister, Tracy Keesee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wake Forest Baptist Church Mobile Soup Kitchen, 118 E. South Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587
