David William Noyes

David William Noyes, 64, a resident of Wendell, NC, passed away on July 12, 2018.  Prior to 2001 David resided in Lutherville, Maryland. 

David was born on July 16, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland to William Harrison Noyes and Thelma Elizabeth (Kelbaugh) Noyes.  David was an Inspector for the Street Division of The City of Raleigh, and prior to that, he worked for the Baltimore County Department of Public Works.  David served in the Reserves.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and car club groups.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Thelma Noyes.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jan Essex Noyes, his daughters, Heather L. Noyes of Raleigh and Jana M. Noyes of Crofton, MD, his grandsons, Devin F. Noyes and Kevin F. Davis of Charleston, SC, his brothers, William H. Noyes (Kristie) of Delaware and Walter H. Noyes (Patty) of Havre de Grace, Maryland.

A visitation was held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, 1051 Durham Rd., Wake Forest, NC.
