Donald Rositch

Donald Rositch, 87, of Raleigh, passed away Wednesday morning, January 3, 2018 at The Gardens of Wakefield. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late John Joseph Rositch and Margaret Viola Johnson. Mr. Rositch was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles as an Inspector. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. His presence will be greatly missed.

Don will be remembered for his love of dancing, cars and his country. He never met a stranger and had a kind word and smile for everyone he met.

A service was held at 2 o’clock, Friday afternoon, January 12, 2018 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Friends visited with the family immediately following the service.

Mr. Rositch is survived by his children, Linda Banks & husband Darryl of Wake Forest, Donald Rositch & wife Terri of Sandston, VA and Andrew Rositch of Durham; grandchildren Marissa Banks of Raleigh, Emily Banks of Wake Forest and Marianna Rositch of Raleigh. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Rositch and a brother, Robert Rositch.
