Elizabeth "Libby" Irene Neville

Elizabeth Irene "Libby" Davenport Neville, 72, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at her home. She was born in Guilford County on August 14, 1946, to the late John Clayton Davenport and Irene Lashley Davenport.

Mrs. Neville worked at area convenience stores over the years and touch a lot of peoples lives. Her three dogs meant the world to her. They were a big part of her life and brought her great comfort. She was an avid BINGO player and when she wasn’t playing bingo, she was spending time with her family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and will be greatly missed.

Friends may visit with the family Saturday afternoon, August 10, 2019 form 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the home of Angel & Tony Faison, 4245 Burlington Mills Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587

Mrs. Neville is survived by her children, Paula Medlin Newell of Durham, Lisa Annette Langdon of Raleigh and Alton Medlin, Jr. & wife Donna of Creedmoor; brother, John Davenport & wife Sandra of Greensboro; sister, Peggy & husband Jerry of Georgia; grandchildren, Renee Haywood(Tim), Tiffany Temple(Matt), John Jones(Rosa), Mike Jones, Chris Simmons, Josh Simmons, Brittany Presley, Cassandra Medlin and Erica Medlin; 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheryl Medlin; brothers, Jimmy Davenport and Charlie Davenport.
