Justin Orvis Obituary

Justin Andrew Orvis, born November 25, 1980, in Port Washington, WI, to Ann and Andy Orvis, was known for his talents in gardening, his strong work ethic putting in long hours as an electrician, as well as being a devoted husband and father to his wife Tess and their two children Hunter 4 and Abigail 1. An avid fisherman, Justin was happiest spending his time outside enjoying nature. Growing up Justin excelled in sports, with a particular affinity for football. His friends valued his fun-loving demeanor; Justin was a jokester. Embodying much of the Midwestern approach, he didn’t mince words and you never had to question where he stood on any topic. A gentle giant at 6’ 5”, he was always quick with a smile followed by a sincere hug.

Justin will be missed by many, chiefly his wife and children, his parents and sister, Kerry Orvis, as well as a bevy of other family and friends. Join the many that fell in that category as we celebrate his life and our good fortune to have shared it with him, however too brief. There was a cookout in Justin’s honor on September 1st in Wake Forest, NC.
