Mary Davis Larson

Mary Davis Larson, 93, formerly of Raleigh, passed away on January 6, 2018 in Lilburn, GA. Mrs. Larson was born in Clarkton, NC to the late Charles Thompson Davis, Sr. and Elma Baldwin Davis.

She is survived by her three children, Becky Crofton Larson of Raleigh, NC, John (Alison) Larson of Glen Allen, VA, and Karen (James) Kirkwood of Lilburn, GA, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson along with two sisters, Elma Grace Long of Raleigh and Margaret (George) Reed of McKinney, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband John David “Jack” Larson, Jr., M.D.

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, January 13, 2018 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Bay Leaf Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs, 701 N. Raleigh Blvd. Raleigh, North Carolina 27610.
