Alice Page Pearce, 92, of Raleigh, passed away on Thursday evening, August 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Pearce was born in Wake County to the late Paul Waylon Earp and Clyde Etta Munford Earp. Mrs. Pearce was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Friends visited with the family from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. August 6, 2023 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial followed in the Central Baptist Church Cemetery, Wendell, North Carolina.
Mrs. Pearce is survived by her daughters, Linda Humphries & husband Bruce of Raleigh, Kaye Broaddus of Raleigh and Janet Cross & husband Tom of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jaime Grochowski & husband Zac, William Humphries & wife Katie, Carl Broaddus, IV, Scott Broaddus & wife Veronika, Allison Murphy & husband Chris, Meredith Watts & husband Brian and Thomas Cross, IV & wife Alexa; 15 great-grandchildren; extended family and special neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Herbert Pearce; siblings, Mary Richardson, Raye Price, Pauline Royal, Paul “Buddy” Earp, Jr., Earl Earp, Betty Satterfield and Johnny Earp; son-in-law, Carl “Chip” Broaddus, III.
