Barbara Earnhardt McCallum

Barbara Earnhardt McCallum, 83, of Wake Forest, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at her home. She was born on June 17, 1936 in Mecklenburg County to the late Robert Turner Earnhardt, Sr. and Annabel Fowler Earnhardt. Mrs. McCallum was a true caregiver, a nurse by trade and was always taking care of everyone around her.  She loved her family and will leave a huge void in their hearts.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, December 8, 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2124 Oak Grove Church Rd. Wake Forest, NC followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.

Mrs. McCallum is survived by her husband, William E. McCallum, Sr.; children, William E. McCallum, Jr. & wife Pam of Garner, Cindy McCallum & husband David Holbrook of Wake Forest and Robert A. McCallum & wife Sharon of Raleigh; grandchildren, Erin McCallum, Travis Johnson, Chris Newcomb, Billy Newcomb, Tonya Newcomb, Robbie McCallum, Paul McCallum, Chad McCallum and Lindsay McCallum; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Boyce Earnhardt of Monroe; nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her sister & brother-in-law, Faye & Bud Ivey and brother Robert T. Earnhardt, Jr.
