Bernadine Zanoni

It’s with sincere sadness that I inform you of my loss, my beloved wife Bernadine.

Bernadine Zanoni, 82, “Bernie” as she was affectionately known was born in New York City July 9, 1936 to the late Joseph and Josephine Morton. On August 28, 1966, she married the love of her life Richard Zanoni. Bernie’s career’s included working for the Dinner Bell Deli in Westwood, NJ and the Suburban Bank of NJ in Emerson, NJ. In 2000 Richard & Bernie left their home in Delaware to be near family in Wake Forest, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon, May 22, 2019 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service.

Bernie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard “Rich” Zanoni; niece, Gail Murphy & husband Kevin of Wake Forest; great-niece, Kim Murphy; great-nephew, Kevin Murphy, Jr. and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her ten siblings.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to Heartland Hospice for all of their care. They would ask that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Zanoni’s memory to the Heartland Hospice, 4505 Falls of Neuse Rd #650, Raleigh, NC 27609.
