Brenda Ray Gay Obituary

Brenda Ray Gay, 74, of Wendell, passed away December 3, 2020 at WakeMed Hospital. She was born in Wendell to the late Alvin & Mildred Ray. She was a loving wife, mama, grandmother and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 11 o’clock, Friday morning, December 11, 2020 at Pearce Baptist Church, 4634 Pearces Road, Zebulon, NC 27597. Due to COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing are requested.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Tim Gay; children, Amy Viar & husband, John of Zebulon and Lynn Gay & wife Cissie of Clayton; grandchildren, Taylor Viar of Knoxville, Hunter Grace Whitlow & husband Seth of Zebulon, Connor Gay of Clayton, Sawyer Gay of Clayton and Harper Gay of Clayton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Faith Baptist Church Missions, 2728 Marks Creek Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
