C. Lester Harrison

C. Lester Harrison, 87, of Wake Forest, passed away on Thursday morning, September 28, 2023. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Annie Bailey and Herman Harrison, and was a Stony Hill Baptist Church member. He worked many years with Northern Telecom before retiring. After retirement, he found joy in spending time with his family, friends and pulling for his beloved Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Friends visited with the family from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2023 at Stony Hill Baptist Church, 7521 Stony Hill Road, Wake Forest, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Mayfield and Rev. Mark Harrison officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Lester is survived by his son, Glenn Harrison & wife, Patty, of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Daniel Harrison & wife Kate, Shannon Harrison, Jessica Eason & husband Dwayne, and Josh Harrison & wife Meredith; great-grandchildren, Makayla Eason, Kyle Eason, Makensie Eason, Caden Harrison, Brody Harrison, and Elizabeth Harrison; sisters, Judy Dillard, Phyllis Perrot & husband Jimmy; brothers, Vermon Harrison & wife Beatrice and Curtis Harrison. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Ray Harrison; sons, Gordon Harrison and Greg Harrison; brother, Euralee Harrison; sisters, Alberta Perry and Maxine Lowery.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Stony Hill Baptist Church, Brotherhood or Helping Hands, 7521 Stony Hill Road, Wake Forest, NC 2758.
