Carl Thomas “Pete” Dickerson, 88, of Wake Forest formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday evening, August 22, 2021 after a brief stay at William M. Dunlap Center For Caring(Transitions LifeCare). Mr. Dickerson was born in Forsyth County to the late John Leslie and Mary Todd Dickerson. He retired after serving numerous years in the United States Army and Army Reserves having attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. Pete also retired from Western Electric as a Technical Writer after many years.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Ruby Page Dickerson. He is survived by his loving companion, Davette Bulloch; his daughters, Robin Dickerson Morris & husband Gregory of Raleigh and Lori Dickerson Goodrum & husband James of Rolesville; sister, Faye Bowen of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Matthew Morris, Hannah Goodrum, Lauren Goodrum Molter & husband Joshua; great-granddaughter, Everly James Molter.
