Carrie Ann Waters Haire

Carrie Ann Waters Haire, 84, of Zebulon, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at WakeMed. She was born on May 2, 1939, in Johnston County to the late Tandy and Lucille Waters.

Carrie Ann was a beacon of love and warmth in the lives of her family. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she enriched the lives of those around her with her kindness and unconditional love.

A private burial service was held at Markham Memorial Gardens in Durham, North Carolina.

She is survived by her daughters, Hope Haire Coppock and husband Gary of Louisburg, and Sharon Dawn Bell and husband Todd of Franklinton; grandchildren, Blake Haire of Cary,  Niki Norwood of Butner Joshua Coppock of Oxford, Mattison Coppock of Louisburg, Drew Bell of Wake Forest and Travis Bell of Wake Forest. Mrs. Haire was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Gordon Ray Haire.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Zebulon Rehabilitation Center for the care and attention of Mrs. Haire. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to, the Gentiva Foundation.
