Christine Walls Dominisac

Christine Walls Dominisac, 51, of Youngsville, North Carolina died December 8, 2020 at WakeMed Hospital, Raleigh, North Carolina after a brief illness.

Chris was born in Memphis, Tennessee August 7, 1969 and moved to San Diego, California at age 4 where she lived until moving to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1998.  She attended Taft Jr. High School, San Diego and was a 1987 graduate of Kearny High School, San Diego.  She made many lifelong friends during her formative years.
Chris had a smile that could light up a room and she will be remembered as a beautiful, vivacious, bubbly lady who had the unique ability to make anyone feel as if they were the most important person in her life.  She loved her sons, Brian and Tyler above all else and spent her life making sure they knew how much they meant to her. 

She is survived by her husband Ray Dominisac; sons Brian (fiance Jamie Calnan) and Tyler; parents, Marcia & John Atwood; brother Brian Walls (Jennifer) and niece Samantha Walls; half-sisters Marie Braden and Mary Duggan Blanton; and paternal grandmother Dorothy McCray; brother in law Johnny Dominisac and sister in law April Temple,  as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, James & Leslie Gaither; uncles Harold Gaither and Jim Gaither and paternal grandfather Melvin Walls. 

The family wishes to thank special friend Cindi Rivera for her friendship and devotion to Chris and her assistance to the family following Chris's passing.  Heartfelt thanks go out to special friends Kelli Castle and Edna Blecha for their unending love and support thru the years.  The family would also like to thank the nurses and doctors in the ICU Unit at WakeMed Hospital, Raleigh for their outstanding and tender care and for their efforts and assistance in helping the family come together as a group to say goodbye to our beautiful Chris.

Services will be held at 2 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, December 13, 2020 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, 1051 Durham Road, Wake Forest, North Carolina with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
