Christopher David Johnson, 37, of Huntington Beach, California died in his sleep in Allen, Texas, on November 12th, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Allie, his parents, Dave and Lisa, his brother, Alex, along with his dogs, Roman and Bella.
Christopher loved the life he created as a native Californian living in Raleigh, then Cary, North Carolina for the past 13 years. He became such an evangelist for North Carolina living that he convinced his best friend, Dan along with his parents (lifelong Californians) to both move to NC in 2020. He met his wife, Allie, on a dating app (bumble)in April 2016. They adopted their first dog, Roman, in September 2016, and their second dog, Bella, in December 2017. Allie and Chris were engaged in June of 2019 and married on October 17th, 2021, in Nags Head, NC.
Christopher was born on May 1,1987, at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California. He is the first born son of Dave and Lisa, followed by his brother, Alex, three years later. Chris had a beautiful childhood growing up in Huntington Beach, California. He graduated from Edison High School in 2007. He has worked as an integration support supervisor at Extron Electronics since 2011.
Chris loved sports of all kinds, with special passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New York Yankees. He loved golfing with his best friends and family, history of any kind, grilling a perfect medium rare steak, Bruce Springsteen, the Sopranos, and walking around Apex community park with his pups. Christopher was an honorable man of his word, with a generous spirit apparent to all that knew him. He was incomparable.
In lieu of flowers and memorial trees, donations can be made to the GoFundMe that has been set up to help Allison with present and future expenses.
A funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, November 23, 2024, at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, 1051 Durham Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
