Connie Dale Williams Harrell

Connie Dale Williams Harrell, 77, of Wake Forest, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born in Franklin County on February 21, 1949, to the late Jones Edwin “Bud” Williams and Ruby Dale Cone Williams.

Connie was a dedicated and hardworking woman who built a long and meaningful career in finance. She earned her Associate’s degree from ECU Business School in 1969 and went on to work alongside John Gorely for over 30 years. In addition, she faithfully served her community as a tax advisor with H&R Block for 40 years. Connie had a true passion for helping others and took great pride in serving her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2026 at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church, 12605 Capital Blvd, Wake Forest, NC. Burial will be held in the Old Bunn Cemetery in Bunn.

Mrs. Harrell is survived by her husband of 39 years, Armin Lee Harrell; her sister, Dianne Williams Minton of Farmville; special friends, Brad & Mary Baker and their family; as well as many cousins and extended family members.
