Deborah Kay 'Totchie' Tyree Obituary

Deborah Kay 'Totchie' Tyree, beloved sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 16th, surrounded by her loving family. She was 73 years old.

Born on November 27th in Tennessee, Totchie dedicated her life to the people she loved the most. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother- every smile, laugh, and milestone of her grandchildren filled her heart with pride. She was a constant source of warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love. She often said, "I love you to the moon and back," and those words will echo in the hearts of her family forever.

Known for her skilled hands and generous heart, Totchie spent countless hours crocheting beautiful pieces for family and friends. Each stitch was made with love, creating heirlooms that will be treasured for generations.

She is survived by her brother, Hal (Karen, and sister Jenny (Pat) and her son's Chad (Elisabeth) and Matt (Brittany), her nephew and nieces Mick, Roni (Paul) and Rebecca and cherished grandchildren, Maryssa, Isabella, Chad, Boone and Jack, and many other family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Her love for her family was boundless, and her legacy of kindness, patience, and devotion will live on in all who knew her.

A service will be held at 11 o'clock, Saturday morning, August 30, 2025 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Friends may visit following the service.
