Debra Edwards Barefoot Obituary

Debra Edwards Barefoot, 67, of Bailey, passed away Wednesday morning, May 13, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Johnston County to the late Bobby Edwards and Mildred Davis Edwards. She was the former owner/operator of Barefoot Construction in Raleigh. Debra loved working in her yard and was very proud of her beautiful roses. Mrs. Barefoot was a devoted wife, mother and sister. Her presence will be missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.

A private graveside service will be held at the Falls Community Cemetery, Wake Forest, NC.

Mrs. Barefoot is survived by her husband, Ivan Donald “Donnie” Barham; children, Ryan Martin of Zebulon and Carla Martin of Wilson; sister, Gena Mitchell & husband Steve of Clayton and Joy Summerlin & husband Randy of Smithfield; brother, Wayne Edwards & wife Carol of Snow Hill; step-daughters, Andrea Ray & husband Henry of Clayton and Alyson Macias & husband Horacio of Clayton; step-grandchildren, Chelsea Dunn, Cassie Ray, Jason Dunn & wife Amanda, Lilliana Macias, Selena Macias, Madison Loftis and Kylie Loftis; step-great granddaughter, Cameron Dunn.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to Bailey Baptist Church, 6646 Deans Street, Bailey, NC 27807.
