Edward Joseph Fedorowicz of Wake Forest, North Carolina, age 75, calmly passed away on April 8th, 2026 at Transitions LifeCare.
Ed was born on December 20, 1950, in Braddock, Pennsylvania, to the late Joseph and Marylou McCune Fedorowicz. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. In 1973, he married the love of his life, Darlene, and together they built a life centered on family. In 1986, they made their home in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Ed found great joy in spending time with his family and grandchildren, and he especially enjoyed reading. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A private burial will be held at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, Wake Forest, NC.
Ed is survived by his two sons, Brian and daughter-in-law Laura of Colorado Springs, CO, and Brad and daughter-in-law Amanda of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Bailey and Smith Fedorowicz; brothers, John Smith of Plum, PA; Bob & Vicki Smith of Plum, PA; nephews, Justin, Sean, and Colin Smith; also nieces and nephews Wendy Martelle, Amber Demek, Jena Demek, McKenna Gower; David Whitehead, Jason Demek, Justin Demek, Trent Demek; He was Preceded in death by his wife Darlene Ann Fedorowicz; sisters, Barbara Fedorowicz and Evelyn Fedorowicz.
Donations can be made in Ed’s honor to the Military Missions in Action, dedicated to assisting Veterans in need, members of all Armed Forces, and their loving, supporting families.
