Frances Ann Foley

Frances Ann Foley, 73, of Wake Forest, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Frances made North Carolina her home five years ago to be closer to her family, whom she cherished deeply.

Frances found joy in life’s simple blessings. Her late family dog, P-Nut, brought her years of happiness and companionship, and after his passing, she became especially fond of “Chuck the Duck,” who lived in the pond behind her daughter’s home. She always enjoyed watching for him and the peace those moments brought her.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Sarah Patterson & husband Brandon and Meghan Foley, all of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Riley and Brenna Patterson and Matteo Bailon; along with extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Collins and Rose Cameron.
