Harold George Heye

Harold George Heye, 91 of Raleigh passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. His loving family was at his side. 

He was born on December 20, 1932, to Harold L. Heye and Katherine (Warnke) Heye. He was raised in Cliffside Park, NJ. He served his country as a veteran of the US Army and following his military service he met and married his loving wife Amelia (Partenock) Heye. They were happily married for 68 years.

Together they raised four children in NJ. When they retired they resided in Ocala FL for 29 years and traveled the world together. They recently moved to Raleigh to be nearer to family.

Harold is survived by his wife Amelia and children Kenneth Heye and wife Christine, Lorraine Procter and husband Kevin, Christopher Heye and wife Missy and Brenda Byrnes and husband Les. Harold was loved by 9 grandchildren: Katie, Jane, Mike and wife Kirstin, Matt and wife Jackie, Megan, Nick and fiance Haley, Lucy, Dan and Shawn as well as 2 great-grandchildren Payton and Cameron.
