Joseph Ricky Allen, 70, of Wake Forest, died peacefully in his daughter’s home with all of his family by his side on Oct 2, 2022 at 3:08 pm. He courageously fought and battled cancer until the end, and now has the victory. He was born in Wake County to the late Leamon Howard Allen, Sr. and Myrtle Osa Ray Allen.
Ricky loved life, his family and his friends. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with family. The unconditional love he gave his children, grandchildren and family is his greatest legacy. He was the absolute best Daddy and Papa and will forever be in our hearts. The family longs to be with him again in Heaven with our glorious Savior!
A funeral service was held at 1 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, October 6, 2022 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Lotz officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
