Jack Thomas Griffin

Jack Thomas Griffin, 27, of Raleigh, passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2025, at his home. Jack was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on December 19, 1997, to Thomas and Kelly Griffin. He graduated from Heritage High School in Wake Forest, NC, and received his Bachelor's degree in Business from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.

An entrepreneur at heart, Jack was always thinking of creative business opportunities and coming up with clever invention ideas. He was a successful business owner and a hard worker in all that he did. He built a large book of business with Interstate Cash Register selling Point of Sales and Merchant Services, and his dream was to have multiple successful businesses throughout his life.

Jack loved all sports and was an incredible athlete, rarely missing a day lifting weights at the gym and taking pride in his commitment to health and fitness. He loved watching all sports and always had a game on. He was a big fan of LeBron James, the Green Bay Packers, the Boston Red Sox, and the Carolina Hurricanes. He also loved music; his favorite was Rap, and he forever had a song playing on his phone wherever he would go.

Jack's deepest love was that of his family and friends. He had the biggest, kindest heart and a brilliant smile. The most loyal of friends, he was always there to lend a buck when someone needed help or open up his home when they needed a place to stay. He would always be there for his family and friends when they needed someone to talk to, an ear for listening, an honest opinion, or a hug for comfort. He loved to strike up a conversation with anyone, and he made friends wherever he went. He was funny and lighthearted, and people were drawn to Jack's energy and charismatic, outgoing personality.

Jack loved the beach and the sun, and a good tan was one of his favorite things. His dream was to move back to what he thought was the greatest city in the world, Miami, and spend his days on the sunny beach with friends and of course a good song playing in the background. He will be lovingly remembered by so many and forever missed. 

Jack was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Susan Holland, and his paternal grandparents, Walter and Geraldine Griffin. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Kelly Griffin; sister and brother-in-law, Riley Griffin and Ryan Searcy; brother, Patrick Griffin; maternal grandfather, Paul Brown; uncle and aunt, Walter and Monica Griffin; cousins, Thomas Griffin, Dan Griffin and wife Allison, Melissa Griffin and husband, Amory Langley; uncle, Tim Griffin; aunt and uncle, Stacey and Aaron Dilley; cousins, Adam Dilley; Kaitlynn Frey and husband, Zach.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm Saturday, May 10th, at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

A celebration of life will follow from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm at Norse Brewing Company, Wake Forest, NC. We invite friends and family to come, share memories, and raise a cheers to Jack.
