James "J.R." Ryan Vallely

J.R. was born in Birmingham, AL on May 12, 1982 and passed away unexpectedly in Youngsville, NC on January 28, 2020. He was 37 years old. He resided in Birmingham, AL until moving to Curry, AL in 1993. He went to Junior High and High School in Curry, AL. He moved to North Carolina in 2012 to be closer to his immediate family. He loved cars and boats and was a mechanic for several car dealerships, motorcycle shops, and a marina. J.R. loved being on the water and living at Smith Lake in Walker County, AL. He dreamed of sailing one day. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Vallely Jr., Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, Cousin and Uncle. 

He is survived by his mother Tamisha "JoAnn" Vallely, sister Lena Vallely Bishop, brother-in-law Jonathan Bishop, and nephew Julian James Bishop. 

A memorial celebration of J.R.'s life will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 4pm at North Wake Church 1212 South Main St. Wake Forest, NC. For family and friends who are unable to attend Friday, there will be a future service in Alabama over the Summer, location and date to be determined.
