Janice Edna Soucy

Janice Edna Soucy, 74, of Wake Forest, passed away Thursday morning, July 15, 2021 at William M. Dunlap Center for Caring, Raleigh, NC. She was born in Worcester County, Massachusetts to the late Reino Herman Huhtala and Helen Evelyn Reed Huhtala.

Mrs. Soucy and her late husband owned and operated Soucy-Gagnon Dental Associates in Hudson, NH. Together they touched many lives and after his passing she continued caring for people, investing in others and living her life to the best of her ability. Everyone came before her. The love she showed to others will be greatly missed by her family and the many people she interacted with.

A celebration of Mrs. Soucy’s will be held at 1 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, July 24, 2021 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Soucy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Casey-McGrath & her husband who Mrs. Soucy thought of him like her own son, Frank McGrath of Wake Forest; son, Gary Soucy & his wife Roslyn of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Cody Casey & wife Shannon Jent of Rolesville, Kyle Soucy & wife Michaela of Castalia and Gavin Soucy of Wake Forest; great-grandchildren Julian Casey, Asher Casey and Emmett Casey; brother, Douglas Huhtala & wife Kinda of Northfield, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Gerard Raymond Soucy and a sister, Nancy Huhtala.
