Jeffrey Gardner Obituary

Jeffrey Scott Gardner, 62, of Wake Forest, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday morning, June 10, 2025. Born in Wilson, North Carolina, on November 26, 1962, Jeff lived a life marked by faith, hard work, and deep devotion to his family and community.

A longtime member of Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, Jeff served faithfully in many capacities, demonstrating his heart for service and unwavering commitment to his faith through teaching Sunday school, AWANA, and ministering to as many people as possible. His presence was a constant source of support and encouragement to those around him.

Jeff built a career in sales, starting off his career through his Lance snack route, which made him a familiar and friendly face to many. He later transitioned to HVAC sales, working for over two decades with ACR Supply and, most recently, Longley Supply Company. Jeff received many awards throughout his career, including salesman of the year for several years.

In addition to his professional life, Jeff enjoyed serving as an umpire for fifteen years, including umpiring at the home of the Little League World Series in Cooperstown and being inducted into the Umpire Hall of Fame. Jeff used his love for baseball to minister and connect with his fellow umpire community.
