Judy Keith Kuykendall

Judy Keith Kuykendall, 78, of Wake Forest, passed away on  Thursday afternoon, January 23, 2025 at Cary Health & Rehabilitation. She was born on December 16, 1946, in Wake County, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Yancy Keith and Annie Meda Tharrington Keith.

A graduate of Wake Forest High School, Judy built a dedicated career with Nationwide Insurance, retiring as a mail clerk after many years of faithful service. In her retirement, Judy found joy in quietly helping those in need, always offering her kindness and a warm smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

Judy’s calm and sweet demeanor touched all who knew her. She was a woman of quiet strength and enduring faith, reflected in her more than 40 years of membership at Wake Forest Baptist Church. Her unwavering devotion to her church and community will be remembered fondly by all.

Judy’s memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of compassion and grace will continue to inspire those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, January 28, 2025 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens. 

Judy is survived by her son, Keith Barham of Wake Forest; her loving sisters and brothers, Mavis Strickland, Bryant Keith (Joyce), Peggy Hunter (Bobby), and Sammy Keith (Becky). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Brown "Bill" Kuykendall and her sister, Annie Mae Keith Lowery.
