Leslie Allan Davis, 73 of Youngsville, passed away on April 30, 2023 at WakeMed. Allan was born on August 7, 1949, in Bessemer, Alabama.
Allan earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Auburn University. After school, he was a manufacturing engineer for Flextronics and Ericsson. Beyond his professional life, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He took great pleasure in spending time in nature and cherished the peacefulness that it brought him.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Mcpherson Davis; children, Darrell Crutcher & wife Kim of Clayton and Leah Sutton of Garner; grandchildren, Matthew Crutcher & wife Heather of Kenly, Kellie Solomon & husband Kyle of Greenville, SC, and Bailey Strohl of Clayton; great-grandchildren, Braylen, Mason, and Chase; mother, Dixie Phillips Trammell & husband Leonard of Hueytown, AL; sister, Jeanon Davis Massien & husband Jeff of Gulfport, MS; extended family and friends. He loved spending time with his family; they were a source of immense joy and pride for him, and he always put their needs before his own.
Allan will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched the lives of many, and his legacy will live on through his family and friends.
