Linda Gail Parmentier Lewis

Linda Gail Parmentier Lewis, 73, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Wake Forest on Wednesday morning, August 21, 2024. Surrounded by her family, she left this world with the same grace and warmth she lived her life.

Born on April 11, 1951, in Greensboro, NC, Linda was the cherished daughter of Albert and Evelyn Woody Parmentier, who predeceased her.

Throughout her life, Linda's kindness, compassion, and strength were evident to all who knew her. Her unwavering love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

A Mass will be held at one o'clock,  Wednesday afternoon, September 4, 2024 at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church: 600 Holding Ave, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Inurnment will follow in the Church Memorial Gardens.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 29 years, Dan Lewis; daughters, Linda "Michelle" Holt of North Little Rock, AR and Melissa Scott Rys of North Little Rock, AR; step-son, Christopher Philip Lewis of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Shelby Kirtley & husband Tyler of Ward, AR, Gunner Holt, Skylar Holt and Emma Lewis all of North Little Rock AR; great-grandchild, Harper Kirtley and Cooper Kirtley both of Ward, AR, Quentin Holt of North Little Rock, AR and Margot Holt of North Little Rock, AR; brothers & their families, Mike Parmentier of Rolesville and David Ford of California; sisters & their families, Diana Davis and Jo Ann Ford Allen & husband Larry all of Tennessee; nephew & his family, Wesley Davis & wife Shawana; extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603, in honor of Linda's love for animals.
