Lynn Marshall Cole

Lynn Marshall Cole, 73, of Franklinton, passed away Monday morning, October 12, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 4, 1947 in Jamestown, New York to the late Thomas Clifton Town and June Helen Reardon Town.

Mrs. Cole was a passionate person. It didn’t matter if she was talking about her family or her faith, she would encourage you to be a better person. Her presence will be greatly missed by not only her family but also her church family at Faith Harvest.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, October 15, 2020 at Faith Harvest Church, 4737 Willeva Drive, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Inurnment will be held at 11 o'clock, Friday morning, October 16, 2020 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens. 

Mrs. Cole is survived by her children, Laura Tapp & husband Van of Franklinton and Troy Marshall & wife Kimberly of Sanford; daughter-in-law, Holly Marshall McGuyrt & husband Roger of Franklinton; grandchildren, Joshua Tapp, Sarah Morales, Joanna Dorminey, Tyler Marshall, Caleb Marshall, Chloe Marshall, Claire Marshall, Nathan Marshall, Natalie Marshall, Cassandra Swanson, and LaTasha Read; great-grandchildren, Hezekiah Morales, Gideon Morales and Fairen Tapp; many extended family and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her first husband. Robert Leon Marshall; second, husband Gilliam Lee Cole and her son, Todd Edward Marshall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Faith Harvest to help the local outreach give clothing and groceries to our local community sponsored by Faith Harvest East Campus, Raleigh Dream Center and First Baptist Church of Middlesex.
