Manuel Mutio

Manuel Mutio passed away peacefully in Youngsville, NC on February 11th, 2022. He went away to be with the Lord at the age of 93. Manuel was born in Veracruz, Mexico, and migrated to New York City in 1954. He was a concierge doorman on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for 30 years. Manuel was married to the love of his life, Maria Mutio, for 62 years. He was a man of few words, but a devoted husband and a loving family man.

Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, February 13, 2022 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. 

He is survived by his wife, Maria, two sons, David and Edward, two daughters-in-law, Colleen and Berti, three grandchildren, Amanda (and her husband Giancarlo), Kristina, and Nicholas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ministry to help Amanda and Giancarlo work with believers and churches in New York City to help reach the 61,000 international students who come from countries all over the world to study at some of America's top universities. https://give.cru.org/0859720
