Milenko "Michael" Devic

Milenko "Michael" Devic, 69, of Raleigh, NC, passed away Tuesday Oct. 6, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Celle, Germany to the late Vuka Devic and his stepmother, Lieselotta.

Michael emigrated to the United States with his family at the age of six from his birthplace. He is a graduate of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. He spent his career working as an executive, most recently with Kadant Grantek from which he was retired.   He was a devoted father and grandfather, a connoisseur of all things Serbian, an avid fisherman, and the life of every gathering he ever attended. 

A graveside ceremony will be held at 11 AM, Friday, October 9 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, Wake Forest, NC.

Mr. Devic is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret Anne Scott; daughter, Kathryn Rexrode and her husband, Dave Rexrode of Stafford, VA, brother Peter Devic; and sisters Angie Devic and Olga Schuessler; grandchildren, Emma, Abby, and Drew Rexrode; extended family, many godchildren and a host of devoted friends.
