Patricia Nadyne McCue, 60, of Spring Lake, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday evening, July 31, 2024, surrounded by her family at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Liberty. Born in Santa Cruz, California, on October 30, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Paul Reque and Audrey Mitchler.
Patricia proudly served her country as a Czech linguist in the United States Army, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to her duties and her country. After completing her service, Trish devoted herself to her family and supported her husband's military career with unwavering dedication. She is remembered as a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a cherished friend to many. Her strength, kindness, and selflessness touched the lives of all who knew her.
A time for remembrance and visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, August 10, 2024, at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home.
Mrs. McCue is survived by her husband of 39 years, 1SG Matthew Joseph McCue, US Army Ret.; son, CW3 Kyle McCue, US Army & wife Jessica of Spring Lake; grandchildren, Piper, Andersen and Sloane McCue; siblings, Sherri Manios & husband Tim of Tampa, FL and Doug Reque & wife Amy of Appleton, WI; extended family and friends.
