Paul George Shuster

Paul George Shuster, 73, of Wake Forest, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Rex Hospital.

Paul was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, by James Clark Shuster, Sr. and Anna Christine Schauff Shuster. He was a proud member of the first graduating class of Central Bucks East High School and later earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University.

From an early age, Paul loved bicycles, a love that grew into a lifelong passion and career. He navigated the high-end bicycle industry by supplying bicycles throughout New England, where he was widely known and highly respected. After relocating to the Wake Forest area, Paul briefly continued in the bicycle industry before retiring and taking a position with Fresh Market, where he worked in the produce department.

Paul was a self-proclaimed Chocoholic who faithfully made his hot chocolate from scratch each day. He was also an avid Strombecker Car Collector and took great joy in the details and history behind his collection.

Mr. Shuster is survived by his wife, Pamela Hill Shuster; brother, James C. Shuster, Jr. & wife Beth of Philadelphia, PA; nephew, James Tofel Shuster of Philadelphia, PA; step-mother, Maureen Shuster, of Doylestown, PA; beloved dogs, Truffle, Phoebe, Charlotte, and Frankie; along with extended family and numerous friends.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Traditions Club House, 401 Traditions Grande Blvd, Wake Forest, NC 27587. For family and friends who are unable to attend in person, the service will be available to view by clicking the following link.
