Rev. Juan E. Rivera

Rev. Juan E. Rivera, 83 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2021 at his home in Rolesville, North Carolina surrounded by the love of his family. Rev. Rivera was born in Puerto Rico on July 7th, 1937. Raised in a Christian environment led him to adhere to the highest human values that shape his strong and loving character.

Rev. Rivera served in the US Army while stationed in Germany in 1956. In 1969 Rev. Rivera graduated from the Academy of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Rev. Rivera set out to reach the highest-ranking level within the Puerto Rico Police Department as a Colonel. In 1973 Rev. Rivera got the call to the ministry and since then he has worked for the Kingdom of his Lord and Master.

Rev. Rivera is survived by his wife Rebecca Rivera, his son Juan E. Rivera, his daughter Rebecca Rivera, grandchild Everleigh Rivera and many nieces and nephews here and in Puerto Rico.

Services will be held Friday, February 26th at 2:00 pm. Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home 1051 Durham Rd, Wake Forest, NC. Burial will follow at Wake Forest Cemetery.
