Richard George Koch, 76, of Raleigh, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 18, at his home. He was born in Cambria County, New York to the late Adam Koch and Lillian Crislip Koch.
Dick made a difference in many lives as a Financial Planner for over 35 years. He often told me he would give advice to his clients based on what he would do for his own family. That is truly what he did. Dick would do anything possible to help a friend, which may explain why so many mourn his loss.
He loved his family without reservation or expectation. He added something special to every day of our 19-year marriage which I will always treasure and be grateful for.
He was my best friend and partner in everything, and I loved him so very much. He will be sorely missed forever.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
Mr. Koch is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary Ann Koch; step-son, Michael Hill & wife Emily of Apex; brother, James Koch of Utah; several friends and extended family.
