Richard Lee Johnson

Richard Lee Johnson, 57, of Franklinton, passed away Sunday morning, August 16, 2020, at his home. He was born in Wake County on June 20, 1963, was owner/operator of 2063 Restorations.

Richard was known for his dedication to his work and his craft. While not working he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the occasional gold panning adventures. Family was everything to him, and he cared deeply for his children and grandchild. Richard was the glue that held his family together, and his dedication to them will be sorely missed.

A graveside service will be held at the Johnson’s Family Cemetery, 1611 Bent Road, Wake Forest, NC on Thursday, August 20th at 11am. 

Mr. Johnson is survived by his children, Amanda Thayer of Wake Forest; Hunter Johnson & fiancé Justin McNair of Raleigh and Brooklyn Pridgen of Oxford; mother, Sylvia Salmon Johnson of Kittrell; grandson, Mason Thayer; brothers, Scott Johnson of Kittrell, Timmy Johnson & wife Gina of Wake Forest and Chris Johnson & wife Yolanda of Raleigh; nieces & nephews, Taylor Johnson, Bailey Briggs, T.J. Johnson and Kristy Staton; extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Earl Johnson.
