It’s with sincere sadness that we inform you of our loss, our beloved Rich.
Richard Zanoni, 86, “Rich” as he was affectionately known was born in Bergen County, New Jersey, on April 29, 1936 to the late Annibale & Candida DeCandido Zanoni. Rich’s career’s included working for the Burroughs Corporation where he retired as a Field Engineer after 33 years of service and later worked for Vanity Fair for 6 years while living in Delaware. In 2000 Richard & his late wife Bernie left their home in Delaware to be near family in Wake Forest, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday afternoon, May 20, 2022 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service.
Rich is survived by his niece, Gail Murphy & husband Kevin of Wake Forest; great-niece, Kim Murphy; great-nephew, Kevin Murphy, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Bernadine “Bernie” Morton Zanoni.
