Shannon Briggs Janosko

Shannon Elaine Briggss Janosko, 68, of Youngsville, passed away Wednesday evening, November 25, 2020 at her home. Shannon was born in Wake County to the late Fred Basil Briggs and Faye Ruth White Briggs.

Shannon was an executive secretary with Wandel & Goltermannin Raleigh and after serving them faithfully she found her passion at Hope Lutheran Church. At Hope Lutheran Church she served in many capacities. She often served wherever she was needed whether it was in the preschool or being the administrator for the church. Shannon loved nature and would often watch the birds come and go or any other wildlife that would appear around the house. Being around family brought her the most joy and she touched so many lives that her presence will be missed by everyone she knew.

A service to celebrate Shannon’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday morning, December 1, 2020 at Hope Lutheran Church, 3525 Rogers Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

Shannon is survived by her husband, John Janosko; daughter, Nicole Allen & husband, Larry, of Wake Forest; step-children, Kimberly Peterson & husband, Josh, of New Braunfels, Texas, Tiffany Geiger & husband, Brock, of Patrick Springs, VA and John Michael Janosko & wife, Jackie, of Patrick Springs, VA; sister, Teresa Johnson of Youngsville; grandchildren, Nicholas, Justin, Jasmine and Isabella Allen; step-grandchildren, Eli & Caroline Eve Peterson and Caleb, Seth & Adin Geiger; nephews, Michael Briggs & family and Daniel Wood. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Bradley “Brad” Page and A grandson, Kaylen Allen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shannon’s memory to Hope Lutheran Church, 3525 Rogers Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
