Steven Paul Davis

Steven Paul Davis, 44, of Benson, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 29, 2024, peacefully at his home. He was born in Franklin County on April 25, 1979. Steven was known for his dedication and service in various roles throughout his life.

As a truck driver with Holiday Ice, Steven served the company faithfully over the years. Additionally, he selflessly served as a firefighter at the West Johnson Fire Department, embodying the spirit of community.

Steven was a cherished husband, father, son, and friend to many. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jonie Barham Davis; children, Breanna, Julieanna, Tony, Selena, and Maria; parents, Linda Rogers Jones and Dr. Mike Jones of Rolesville; brother, Tim Davis, and wife Tracie of Royal; special friends, Jeremy and Tiffany Adams of Benson, along with extended family and friends.

Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, March 9, 2024  at New Light Baptist Church, 14705 New Light Rd, Wake Forest, NC followed by a celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. 

In honoring Steven's memory, the family kindly requests that guests attend the service dressed as they are, reflecting Steven's preference for comfort and authenticity.

These donations will help cover funeral expenses and the costs associated with relocation, ensuring that Steven's legacy continues to positively impact those he loved.
