Susan Elaine Nidiffer

Susan Elaine Chappelow Nidiffer, 74, of Raleigh, passed away on April 7, 2023. She was born in Connersville, Indiana to the late Joseph Robert Chappelow and Helen Verniece Matney Chappelow.

Mrs. Nidffer retired as a Senior Buyer for Rockwell Collins after 28 years of service where she made many friends throughout her career. She had a lot of special talents, some of which she would fill the air with sounds from her piano, spending time gardening or using her interior decorating skills to create a beautiful home for her family. Not only will her presence be missed but also the love she gave to her family and friends.

A private service was held at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Mrs. Nidiffer is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Edward “Ron” Nidiffer; children, Jon Edward Nidiffer(Dr. Jeffrey Stephenson of Roseville, CA and David Eric Nidiffer(Vilay) of Creedmoor; grandchildren Jack Henry Nidiffer and Max William Nidiffer; siblings, Stephen Robert Chappelow(Rebecca) of Connersville, IN, William Dean Chappelow(Sheri) of Laurel, IN, James Lee Chappelow(Tim Riggs) of Ft. Myers, FL and Lisa Ann Chappelow of Reno, NV; best friend Cheryl Jukich(Bill) of New Bern, NC; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
