Theresa "Terry" Jean Foster Obituary

Theresa Jean Foster ‘Terry’ (nee Heroux), was born to eternal life on February 8th, 2022 after a difficult battle with pneumonia. Terry was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, James Foster, and her parents Francis and Audrey (Romdenne) Heroux. Terry is survived by her adoring children Brett and Molly Foster, stepchildren Matt (Jennifer) Foster, Shannon Foster and Ben Foster, sister Patricia Burton, brothers Robert ‘Jim’ (Kris), Joseph (Jolinda) and John (Regina) Heroux. Terry is further survived by nephews Christopher Vande Visse, Jennifer Hessels, Aaron Heroux, Shanna Maloney, Jena Heroux and Jacob  Heroux. In addition, great-nephews and nieces Ashlee, Colin, Erin, Katie, Trevor, Tyler, Emberly, Wyatt and Colton.

Terry was born in Rhinelander WI and grew up in Grafton WI. Terry attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Grafton High School. As a member of the Pom Pom squad, she was Captain of her team senior year. Upon graduation, Terry continued working and managing the Pizza Hut in Grafton where she met her future husband, Jim. Terry and Jim married in 1989 and moved to California and later to Chandler AZ.

In 2012, after the sudden passing of her husband, Terry and her 2 small children relocated to North Carolina to start a new life. Terry went to work for her younger brother John at Heroux & Company, LLP as the Office Manager. Terry was instrumental in helping the firm grow. Her strength was in utilizing her organizational, listening and interpersonal skills; and always treating coworkers and clients like family.

Terry had two strong passions. Her children Brett (22)and Molly (20) were always her greatest pride; and her beloved Green Bay Packers of 63 years. Her enthusiasm and chants of "Go Pack Go" at every game of every season will be greatly missed. In addition, she was an avid crime show enthusiast (Law & Order especially); and frequently enjoyed a 1000-5000 puzzle piece adventure as a favorite pastime. Terry would be honored to be remembered for everything she stood for: faith, love, kindness, commitment and generosity towards her family and friends. She will be forever missed, yet remembered always.
