Wanda June Waddell, 82, of Youngsville, formerly of Bradenton, Florida, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family. Wanda was born in Raleigh County, West Virginia, on January 25, 1943, to the late Florian Eugene Walker & Cora Pauline Belcher.
With her husband’s military service, Wanda embraced a life of travel and community, spending 20 years in Evansville, Indiana, before settling in Bradenton, Florida. While in Bradenton, she & her husband were active members of River Life Church of God, where they played a key role in founding the newborn program, which grew to enroll more than 100 babies. Private services will be held at a later date.
